"Why aren't we on the bridge right now?" Nathaniel asked as he walked into the counseling room he didn't have an appointment and he knew she didn't either. He would prefer to be on the bridge, but for the moment he wasn't needed there. He had a good time the other night with Aurora. And he wanted to see more of her.

Aurora looked up from the file she'd been reading, "Probably because we're not needed there currently," Aurora closed her lap top. "So what are we going to do with our free time?"

"Seems reasonable, since we are not busy. I was hoping we could get some coffee, since we have some free time?" Nathan hinted to her with a warm smile on his face, as he extended his hand, hoping she would take it.

Aurora smiled and got up from her desk and walked over to Nathan and took the offered hand. "I like the way you think."

"I have my moments." He said, as he offered his hand for her to take, as they got ready to leave her office.

"Lead on," Aurora said taking his hand.

"So how was your morning? I felt like I didn't really get anything done, been too focused on our mission. I mean don't get me wrong visiting the star base for a few days was nice but I can't wait to see what's out there what to explore next." Nathan said as I started walking towards the mess hall.

"My morning was busy so this is a welcome and much needed break. I'm free for several hours so I'm all yours. I didn't get to spend much time on the star base. I wanted to but things didn't work out for me that way. I cannot wait to explore and see what is out there too." Aurora said.

"Careful they're counselor, I might take you up on that." Nathaniel said with the warm smile as they entered the mess hall, he walked over to the replicator.

Location: USS Scharnhorst, Mess Hall

After they both order their drinks, they found a small table by the window. "It almost seems like we're having an improv date, I like that." Nathaniel said knowing that they were just having coffee, but the idea of having a date with her was very appealing to him.

"It does and it gives us a chance to talk where we're not being overheard, and to better get to know each other better," Aurora replied.

"Are you afraid of people hearing us, I guess a counselor has a reputation to protect right?" Nathaniel said with the teasing tone to his voice. He could understand her need not to want to over broadcast their relationship. Rumor Mills were the worst.

Aurora nodded and reached over and took his hand, "We all have a reputation to protect but we also are entitled to a personal life. If the rumor mill feels the need to let others know I'm interested in you then let them. As long as it doesn't interfere with our work, I don't see an issue."

"Now was that the counselor speaking or was that Aurora speaking?" Nathaniel asked what the loving smile on his face. No matter who it was, he appreciated the gesture nonetheless.

"That is Aurora speaking," She said smiling, "I'm enjoying the company."

"Me too. He simply replied as he reached out or take her hand as they say at the table. With a free hand, he took a sip from his drink. "I was able to get a holodeck reservation for tonight " He said hoping she would like that surprise.

"That sounds wonderful, what do you have in mind for the program and how should I dress?" Aurora asked, the excitement in her voice.

"Well that depends on what you want to do. I had the reservation but I think it should be a joint effort on what we plan. We could stroll the soothing beaches of Risa, we could go visit the Great lakes on Betazed. Or there's countless otherworlds we could go visit. We could have dinner together, we can go on an adventure. There's so many opportunities." Nathaniel said loving all the ideas.

Aurora thought a few minutes, "I like the idea of a stroll on the beach of Risa, I've never been there but have heard good things about it. Dinner how about we enjoy dinner overlooking the ocean? It sounds so peaceful."

"You've never been to Risa, if we ever get the chance I would love to show you around. You're not afraid of heights are you?" Nathaniel asked with the serious look on his face, but his sincerity was sincere.

"That will depend on how high your talking about." Aurora commented.

"A few thousand feet up. Risa has these jetpacks they call floaters, and they are a lot of fun to use at the resort I like to go." Nathaniel said, as he started to recall his last trip to Risa. Sadly the last trip was going to be like this time, on the holodeck. He would prefer to go in person.

"I've never been in a jetpack," Aurora commented. "The height shouldn't be a problem, granted I've never been that high before."

"You've never been on a jetpack, wow. The academy didn't make you do the zero g training?" Nathaniel asked, granted the ev (environmental) suits weren't a jetpack so to speak, but they had the same basic principles as a jetpack.

"zero g training but it wasn't on a jet back." Aurora commented "It was done in a simulator."

"The same concept, you'll be a natural at it just think about this way at least you don't have to breathe into a small device you have all the fresh air, you'll need." Nathaniel find it out there with the big grin on his face, trying to make light of what he was asking her to do.

"Looking forward to it," Aurora replied.

"Good, I love flying. Those jet packs are a lot of fun." Nathaniel suggested to her. "Maybe after words we can do something you like to do?"

"That sounds like a plan to me," Aurora said. "This should be fun."

"You're going to do it?" Nathaniel said with big grin. He assumed she would have backed down. He had a big cheesy grin on his face.

Aurora nodded, "I'm game to try it, Just set it up and let me know when we'll do it,"

"This is going to be fun." Nathaniel said, as a scene starts to get away.
