I'm Glad You Came

Mission: Episode 2: Mine of Taurus
Location: USS Scharnhorst, Lounge

Roman walked into the lounge l, he was a man with a purpose. He did not waste any time with you walked over to sienna Brooks. "For a moment I didn't think you would show, but I'm glad you did." Roman said as he slid right next to her on the barstool in the lounge.

Sienna smiled at him. "That is funny because I wasn't certain you would be here either." Her eyes met his. "I am happy as well." She felt a bit nervous, these first dates were where they got to know each other.

"I was hoping to get some holodeck time, unfortunately all of them are used up currently. I know the lounge isn't typically A place you'd want to take somebody, that you're trying to get to know but I just wanted to spend time with you." Roman said, feeling a little sad that he couldn't get the holodeck. But he would make it up to her, and make reservations and hopefully she'd be available.

"The lounge is fine with me." Sienna assured him. "Though I will admit I am looking forward to spending some time on the holodeck, next time. I look forward to what you come up with." She could from his facial expression he was disappointed and concerned about how she would feel about the lounge. Truthfully, she just wanted to spend time with him.

"Not trying to damp in the moment, but I've noticed a lot of the crews seem to be on edge. Being this close to the Taurus II system. How are you holding up?" Ramon asked, wanted to make sure that he addressed any concerns she might have. He was a little nervous but he was trying to hold a strong front.

"I admit to being nervous." Sienna said quietly. "With what we know, the medical ship being attacked, I can't help but wonder if we could be next."

"Yeah the unknown can be a scary thing. But I have a good faith in this crew, I know we'll get through this." Roman said trying to sound confident with his words, despite the fact that he felt the same way she did.

"It is a good crew." Sienna agree with him. "And we are all well trained to react when we least expect trouble." She was still trying to let it go, but there was a part of her that would not let go of the concern.

"Well we have a little bit of downtime, you want to do something adventurous?" Roman asked, with a warm smile on his face.

"Yes." Sienna said with a smile. she wondered what advenurous idea he had come up with that wasn't on the holodeck. She had a feeling Roman had a lot of good ideas.

"Then follow me." Ramon said, as he took her hand and they started to head out of the lounge. He opened up a Jeffrey's tube access hatch, and they started to crawl through until they got to some of the lower decks. He stopped and smiled as he look at her. "Every ship has a sweet spot, and it took me a couple weeks to find the Scharnhorst's sweet spot. As the doors open, he started to fly into the room, the artificial gravity system wasn't working properly in this area. And he was free floating.

Sienna was startled at first, but once she started floating, it felt amazing. "This is..." She couldn't find the words. "It is so freeing, I can't even describe it." She looked at him. "You really know how to show a girl a good time." She called to him.

"I try, but I noticed that the gravity is thin in this area. I should put in a request to have it properly fixed but, what were the fun and happy and it's being reinforced by structural bull kids all around it. Just the gravity plates and the way that they're designed in this area are misaligned. So what happens when you try to create a cylinder type object with alloys." Ramon suggested to her, hoping he didn't bore her to death.

Sienna smiled at him. "If you put a request in, to fix it, then we would not be able to experience this." She was really enjoying the feeling of floating. "This could be a real game changer for when someone is feeling tense and out of sorts It is relaxing and I am happy I am experiencing it with you."

"Maybe you're right, okay I'm just teasing I know you're right. Just don't let Commander Virel know, or he might try to fix it." Ramon suggested to her. "This can be our little secret."

"I won't say a word." Sienna replied, crossing her heart with her hand. "To him or anyone else. This is like our special place now."

"Let's hope nobody else goes exploring this part of the ship, I want to keep it our little area of the ship for as long as possible." Ramon said, as he continued to fly around.

Sienna did a somersault and laughed softly as she tumbled towards Roman. "I think they will be too busy worrying about where we are headed to even find it."

"I hope your right, I like the idea of having our own special place." Ramon said to her withca from on his face.

"So do I." Sienna agreed. "No one knows about it or has been here but us two. It makes it our secret place. "

The two of them continue to float around, having a small conversation about nothing in particular. As the scene starts to fade away. "I'm glad we did this."

"So am I." Sienna said with a smile. "This was the best first date. I would not have missed this for anything." She was feeling really good about Roman. She could not wait for the next one.
