Mission:
Episode 1: Shadows of Diplomacy
Location: Earth Space Dock, Temporary Quarters
Earth Space Dock, Temporary Quarters
Kara was the first to arrive, she was able to get shared quarters with Colton Rogers. She did not forget the man owed her dinner. And now she had dinner planned with her sister tomorrow. As she walked into the room, she thought it's only one night and it's functional. She did not have to wait long for Colton to arrive.
Colton smiled as he walked in dropping his bags onto the floor. “I have been looking forward to getting here and seeing you!”
"I've missed you too baby." Kara said that she practically ran over and jump on his lap. Even though she was 28, there were times in her life she still felt like she was 15 and this was one of those moments.
Colton wrapped his arms around her, never wanting to let go. “It’s hard to believe that we are finally together!”
"You make four months seem like it was forever." Kara fed with a big teeth and grin on her face. She smiled as she looked at him, and then she just simply shook her head now but in a cute and loving way.
“It was a lifetime.” Colton smiled. “If I learned one thing it’s that I want to serve where you are.” He was being honest he had really missed her.
"Man you got it bad don't you?" Kara teased with a big grin on her face. She could see that the man was love stricken.
“I do.” Colton nodded. “And I am man enough to admit it.” He don’t care who knew he loved Kara.
"I worry about you, what happens if I have to go on a deep space assignment?" She said playfully, knowing that it could happen.
“I will survive.” Colton said with a grin. “Just know it will be tough.” His eyes met hers. I did miss you but I do know it will happen again.”
"That's not very reassuring." Kara pointed out to him, as she continued to hold him close. "I'm a fighter pilot, you know this more than that I'm also CAG. I could be called on a deep space assignment maybe to do an Intel run maybe to do a border patrol run these new fighters are designed for long-term deployment if need be. Now I'm not saying that a 3-month assignment is going to be fun and a shift that size but it is a possibility."
“I’m joking.” Colton signed. “I mean of course we will miss each other but we both have our positions and it is a part of our life together.”
"That we will, and I can not wait to see where our future goes from here." Kara said, as the scene starts to fade away.
Earth Space Dock, Promenade
Later on in the evening...
"The night is young, and you still have not told me where we are going." Kara pointed out to him. She really hated waiting. So far she had been dragged out to the promenade. There was a lot of places they could go on the promenade. The Holodeck, a restaurant, shops, the possibilities are endless.
“We have reservations at an exclusive restaurant.” Colton said with a smile. “They don’t take a lot of customers so that couples can experience a romantic dinner with a sense of privacy. “
"Somebody pulled out some favors." Kara said with a big approving smile, and she wrapped her arms a little tighter around his and then gave him a side hug and she buried her head into his chest.
“Anything for my girl.” Colton said with a smile. He wanted them to have a good evening together before they boarded the ship and both got busy.
"Well this is your opportunity to woo me off my feet." Kara, said with the playful tone in big loving eyes. She was curious to see what he had planned for the night.
“I’m doing my best.” Colton assured her as he led her to their private table and pulled a chair out for her.”
"I love it." Kara said with a big loving grin on her face. A charmer and a romantic. She felt very special. "You know to make me feel special."
“That is my intention.” Colton smiled. “Because you are special to me.”
"What a charmer, dont forget it." Kara suggested to him, with big loving eyes.
